New with a problem

Hello from palm beach gardens I have a 2012 Ford Expedition el with service advantrac lighting up and check brakes light. Took to dealership and they want 3800 to fix they say it’s more than just a ECU. However it is not always on sometimes the lights are off for a month straight. Then they come on for a few weeks. Newest problem dash now says 0 miles to empty with a full tank. And gas guage is stuck on empty. I am not convinced that it’s the ECU AND and some other 1600 dollar part please help thanks CHRIS from gardens

I would recommend adding a post to one of the sections listed for mechanical issues. Do you have a written quote from the dealer? If so, what parts are listed and how much labor?

Get a second opinion. Might get some ideas to check from this Forum but unless you are an auto mechanic type and can troubleshoot things yourself ....??? I dont know much but what does the Engine Control Unit have to do with Advancetrac? They must have given you more information, is that all they told you?

Gas tank thing can easily be a separate problem. My gas guage (on my 2003) has gotten stuck off & on for years
