If you've ever made a part on your own, say a speaker box. You know how easy it is to mess up. One slip of a drill, or saw, and days of work right down the crapper! It's always better to have slotted adjustment. Could you imagine the frustration mounting a front fender that wasn't slotted, not to mention shims for final tweaking. It's hard enough to line things up when they are.

Couldn't be more true when it comes to making it correctly.
Luckily I grew up poor, spent a good part of my life working on ranches and you better be handy when the nearest town is 30 miles away. I'm used to making what I want or need, doing my own mechanic work and I'm still cash poor. I may call things doohickies and whatchyamacallits, but it always turns out to be a great thingamajigger. Slots are already in the mounts and my jig is correct.

Went to oreillys with calipers and it looks like I can use the control arm and ball joint for a 1998 k2500 to make what I need. I'll post pics when it's done. Gonna start this weekend.
