Isn't the difference between 2002 expys and 2003 expys a whole generation, though? That might mean that so much had changed that that CD wouldn't help me much...

Ford factory manuals are complete, that's what mechanics want, and need. Could you imagine trying to tackle one of your IT house calls without the proper schematic. You'd be lost if it was beyond basic diagnosis. This is why we school everyone, leave the Haynes manual on the Oreillys rack, and buy the Ford one. We've all tried the others, they make good barbeque starters.

Well, sadly, computers are a lot harder to fix than cars if something actually, physically breaks, because the parts are really tiny, so if you break your motherboard for example then sorry bucko you need a new one!

Also, the next 'mild annoyance' I'm gonna mess with is the blinker on my passenger side mirror, it's loose and hanging down below the mirror a little, could I just put a thin line of gorilla tape around it or is there a proper way to reattach it?

Holy heck I certainly can't just get new ones....

Why not pick up a complete mirror from pick and pull? New Ford parts are never cheap. Besides a lot of items are not available anymore from Ford.

Man I wish, there's no pick-a-part places anywhere near maryland

They sound so cool! And my brother's 2005 caravan needs a whole new rear hatch, and even though 2000s minivans are all the same and super common, we can't find one anywhere around here.

Also, does the 03 Expy have a cabin air filter? My old explorer didn't... If it does, I wanna check it to see how dirty it is, I hear replacing one of those really gives your ac/heat a boost.
