As a lot of you know, I parked my '03 Expy EB when the tranny began slipping. I turned in the tags and thought I'd get around to selling it at some point. I never even bother to put a sign on it but still a guy came around, saw the removed tag and asked if I'd sell it for 300....I told him I wanted 500 because it had brand new tires....neither of us budged.....and it's ok, I didn't need to give it away....or want to.....

Till Weds....my neighbor came over in the rain to hand me the # of a guy that had stopped to look at my old truck. I called the guy back and my truck is gone this morning......I feel better about giving away for free to this guy than I would have to take 300 from the other guy.....sometimes, its a lot more than money.

The first guy I had actually bought my 99 Expedition and my boat a few years back. I didn't need the money so I wasn't going to let him screw me just to get rid of it though.

The story on the guy I gave it to was that he lost everything in the hurricane down in Florida, came up here broke with his family so I don't feel bad about that at all.

Cleaned up the space where it was parked yesterday and rotated my basketball hoop so I can use it again!

Jeff doing a nice thing for a guy down on his luck can only bring good things for you and your family. To you it was a nuisance, to him a prayer answered!

Of course I warned him on the tranny...I was trying to help him, not screw him by convincing him to take a track that I knew would not run....do people even do that stuff? Human people? I've met plenty of #5 type people that would, but I do not consider them to be human, only selfish creatures with zero regard for others that are to be avoided.

Moose has this right....sometimes good things happen to good people, I hope this was one for him.
