Hello all, new here and this is my first thread.
I have a 1997 expedition XLT.
A few weeks ago my power locks stopped working, when I hit the unlock button on my key fob the dome light comes on and if I double click the lock button the horn beeps but nothing locks or unlocks.

when I hit the button on the door panel nothing happens either.

I checked all the fuses in the accessible boxes and one that I had to cut factory tape off of and aside from replacing the radio fuse (for a radio that crapped out over a year ago) and the double click feature on my power windows, I am unable to find the culprit.

I did see a video on youtube of a guy with an f-150 who had a similar problem and he said there was a box or panel inside the dash containing several relays. Before I start ripping apart my dash I was hoping I could get some feedback from someone who either has had the same problem or knows what controls what.

OK sorry for taking awhile getting back. I looked in my 2000 schematic, seems like 30 amp fuse #8 in under hood fuse box is for lock relays! I'd start there, be sure you have 12 volts at leads of fuse, and ground. That's where you start. Report back!
