    Hub Assembly 12mm or 14mm?

    my 99 4x4 has 12mm studs, expeditions made after 11/99 have 14mm. but easiest way is take the truc to your local parts store and they should be able to measure them for you.

    finally figured out the problem, also had misfire on cyl.# 2,3 and 4. but only thing I can't figure out is why the check engine light didn't come on?. and is it ok to mix coils ( I have 3 new ford COP 1 old and 4 from Uneek)?

    i would check all your vaccumm for leaks I sprayed all my hoses with some carb cleaner ( or anything like that) and listen for a change in idle. if that dosen't work check your o rings on the injectors

    running board lights...

    At the front (under the drives & passenger door) there are 2 wires that run to the lights pull the plastic cover down and check if they corroded or broken. That's where mine corroded and fell apart. hope it helps

    AWD/4WD thumping under acceleration

    I've heard sometimes if your tires are off by a bit iw will cause the awd tokick in. Try unplugging the fuse under the hood for the 4wd and see if the noie is still there.

    Transmission fluid leaking from front of engine oil pan

    I would say you have a pin hole on the tranny cooler line. mine has a leak in the same spot. In the picture where the two lines are rusted in the same spot ( about where u see the fluid spraying on he oil pan) mine had a clamp securing the lines. to repair it I just cut that section out...

    I would check the battery first, then check the battery cable at the starter. If the cables are good try giving the starter a few taps with a hammer.
