    Ok just to give you an update. I managed to get under the truck after talking to a friend of mine and was able to get the 4wd working again. Turns out that the shaft that comes out of the front axle is just a "friction" fit on the vac motor shaft, there is no locking clip so to speak. I forgot...

    Pin = the shaft that engages the front axle. Valve is not connected and there isn't any way to lock it on it. I don't have the money to take it to a mechanic. IF I did we wouldn't be having this discussion now would we :rolleyes:

    GI Damaged 98 XLT (Part Out)

    I'm not sure what the deal is here... He posted a couple of times and answered a few questions but then he just dropped off the face of the earth. I never got a reply from him about the arms, not that I need them any more as I had to buy a new set so my truck would pass inspection.

    Gas Mileage Drop

    If you have been running gas with ethanol and switch to 100% ethanol free fuel thats when you need to unhook the battery. Some people say to disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour, some say an hour, some say 3 hours and some say over night. I say over night that way you know the mem is cleared.
