If you did the 2in lift you shouldn't have have problem with 3.5. The spacer lift isn't 1:1, So its only a little bit bigger then the spacer you already have in there.
You are going to have to have a muffler shop fab one up for you. Due to the IRS there isn't any room for a dual exhaust. You either have to remove the spare tire or run it under the rear axle.
With "dumps" and side exhaust you usually see on trucks, under the bed. You usually don't see on SUV's due to the possibility of exhaust fumes coming into the cab, especially when you are standing still(stop light, traffic, etc).
i had 285/70/17s on stock rims stock height(4x4). Had rubbing from the knobs on A/T tire. On 2003's if remember correctly there is about an inch difference between 4x2 and 4x4 stock height.
285/70/17 will fit on stock height, you will have rubbing on the inner fender when turning. You can run the stock spare with no problems. I ran mine for a couple days with the spare on the rear axle, until i could get the new tire.
Beodricht, 33's you can fit without a lift(4x4 has an extra inch over 4x2). You will have rubbing when turning, especially if you put A/T or M/Ts on, as the "knobs" will catch the inner fender more than a street tire would. I'm running 285/70/17's on the stock rim with a 3.5/2.5 ebay spacers...
