    iPods

    jlw0211 there is actually a place where you can wire the IPod behind the radio. The place I get my stuff done recommends using the auxilory port. If you don't have a DVD player in your truck then it would work fine if you do then you would need to spend a few extra dollars for a different type...

    cd changer help!

    I have the same problem and discovered that it does not play all CD-R disc. Some CD-R disc reads and some doesn't. But if you using a original disc then there souldn't be a problem.

    Check out www.Crutchfield.com for some nice DVD/Navigation double din, many on sale there. Check out Eclipse products; they're supposed to be the new best thing out right now. Alot of price breaks on this website. Just wanted to share some online stores that would save you some money.

    It's finally done!!!

    Thanks Breezy, I will probably stick with the OEM headlights, they're pretty nice looking as it is. Also If you're looking into regular HID kits try www.xenondepot.com a co-worker of mine bought it and it was perfectly fine. It's bright but not blinding to others who drive in front of him.

    98EB Can I buy a 3rd row seat for mine?

    The 3rd row seat should just sit right in the 4 hooks there. The front 2 hooks goes in first then the back two are the one that are lock them all down in place, if I remember.

    There should be a total of 4 hooks in the 3rd row. The front 2 for the seat to sit on and the back 2 where the seat locks on.

    I think all expedition came with third row seating, I think 3rd row comes standard. Dont know for sure. I had a 97' expy and it came with it. Also I have the 03' and that came with it also, except that now they're powered fold flat.

    The reason why some double din radios won't fit is because when then radio is put in it is pushed all the way to the back to stay secure, that leaves the 1 or 1 1/2 inch of dash in front of the radio. With this piece of dash sitting there when the monitor opens up, the dash is in the way...

    Auto-lock is an option in the message center. If you look in your manual it tells you exactly how to set it on/off. I remembered seeing in the manual and I don't think that its hard to do.

    Thats funny! I'm having a similiar problem with mine. I now have 60k on it and the cylinder 4 is misfiring. Does any one know where I can find the spark plugs? I would like to try and do it myself before taking it to the dealer. Pretty sure that the dealer is not going to be too friendly...

    Try putting your ride in (N) then twist the 4x4 switch on. If this doesn't work check the fuses or try banging on the transfer case.

    my 97' did have the wire harness but they would not light up the fog lights because the switched needed to be replaced. I did not know where to get the factory switch equipped with the fog lights from so I got the rocket switch from AUTOZONE.
