    98 Exp rear end issues

    A lot of guys that offroad alot will "Lincoln" lock the rear end. It is the cheapest and easiest way to make it locked. It is horrible for driving on the street though. I would look into a junkyard rear end.

    I agree 100% with the 2000 rpm hint. I have "tried" to do that and it helps when done. It just sounds so good when you romp on it. The headers and magnaflow really let her rumble. The Gotts mod will increase airflow a little and making sure the tires are all properly inflated helps too.

    A right angle drill would help with the stud extractor also. You may want to get some thread inserts and tap in the right size just in case you have to drill them all the way out.     That is the Exact same thing I said about my Suzuki. Guys told me not to take turns at 90mph anymore. That thing would not go over 65 so I was fine. I think I will just remove it for now and see how it acts. Links are pretty cheap so a fix would be cheap and easy if needed. Thanks guys.

    Difference in handling with lift spacers?

    I have noticed NO difference from stock handling. I am using 2" spacers in the rear and torsion crank up front.

    PB Blaster. Soak the bolts down and leave them for several hours. If that does not work a cutoff wheel on a die grinder will loosen any bolt.
