Gear oil leaking from passenger end of front axel.. Advice?
I have an 06 4x4 and have developed a wet spot in probably the same location. I saw a drop of oil on the garage floor. If you take it in to have the gasket replaced I would love to know what that cost. When I see the spot on the floor I just see $$$. I guess as long as I only see a drip once...- mitch94

MPG 2006 Expedition wtih 5.4
I also have an 06 Expy. For the last month I have topped my tank off right to the neck. I drive about 90 miles a week to work and back. 1/2 of the round trip is highway. I am babying the gas petal as much as possible and even coast down hills. I watch the MPG on dash and it will range...- mitch94

Tow Hooks
The original hooks hang over the side of the frame at least 1 inch on each side. When I installed to grille guard bracket onto the frame it was flush to where the tow hooks install. I thought I could just grind maybe a 1/4 inch off of the inside of the hook. I did that and climbed under to...- mitch94

Thanks guys. I found a new in box Smittybuilt 1 piece welded grille guard on E-bay for $150 +$100 shipping. Awesome price but I had to remove the tow hooks. I did dome grinding on one side of the tow hook (they are heavy duty) but I still couldnt get them to bolt back on. I was looking to...- mitch94

Hi, I have been reading this forum for the last year since I got an 06 Expy 4x4I have installed a grille guard but had to remove my tow hooks. Does anyone know of any king of replacement hooks that I could mount where the old ones came off or bolt to the side of the guard. Thanks- mitch94
