After market exhaust for a 2001 5.4L
mufflers alone would cost about $70-$90 a piece then install plus exhaust tips at about $15-$20 a piece. so probably around $350. depending on labor charge- FordRacing1

Ford Design Engineers SUCK!!!!
I do agree with what your saying. I have not had good luck out of my 2000 here lately. It only has 76000 on it and ive already had to replace a cracked manifold and most recently a cracked cylinder head. Ok cool. I really kinda like those. Alot better than the ones with halo rings and all. They look ridiculous in my opinion and I kinda want a projector so I may look into those- FordRacing1

Well my truck is a 2000 with 76,000 miles on it so I dont understand why any of this is happening. I do know that I have a blown head gasket and or a cracked head probably due to the fact that my thermostat got stuck closed one day and it ran hot. I got bad news from the repair shop today. Apparently I either have a blown head gasket or cracked cylinder head. Needless to say, gonna gave to get that replaced. Im pretty sure its hooked up correctly. There are 2 positives and 2 negatives on the amp. Not sure why. i always thought monoblocks had one positive and negative but apparently not anymore. they are single 4 ohm subs so I just hooked pos to pos and neg to neg.- FordRacing1

I have had my subs for a little over a month and a half now with no problems. All the sudden today they will turn on and play for a few minutes then my amp goes into protect mode. Gotta love that feeling lol. I think I have decided on a 10 inch L5 in a kicker box. Out of the way and decently loud. No comparison to my setup now but geez. I cant see straight after I turn mine up now. I listen to Blues, rock, and country alot so its unjustifiable.- FordRacing1
