Skid plate information
The JasperTransfer case was covered under warranty. The shop did a complete inspection on the vehicle as was their policy*( not my request or with my permission). My take was they removed front skid plate to inspect the steering /suspension, set the plate aside and then ordered the replacement...- invader33

Skid plate information
I had my 97 Expedition in a garage for replacement of the Transfer case and after gettiong it home I found the front skid plate was missing. They say they don't have it, that's a separate issue. I called a dealer and they say they don't have a picture of it and don't know if any mounting...- invader33

Removal of the antenna and cable
antenna and cable removal Got more persistent and was able to remove cap off antenna base wit small flat screwdriver and hammer, Then removed base(3 screws), found antenna cable just plugged into base. No threads or clamps. connection different that in back of stereo/radio receiver.- invader33

Removal of the antenna and cable
97 Expedition How do you disconnect the antenna from the antenna base or is it fixed and U must replace them as one unit? How do U remove the antenna base cover? This a fender mount not power driven. dk- invader33
