Poll about 5.4l V8 and mileage
2003 eb 5.4 2003 EB 5.4, 147,000 miles. no major problems other than Power Steering Pump replaced, fuse block replaced (due to burned out fuel relay inside block that cannot be replaced individually), driver seat motors froze, Radio/ Nav system replaced due to blank screen, one reverse sensor...- fixitmyself

04 Expedition Not starting, electrical/fuse/pats issue
Check this out http://expeditionforum.com/showthread.php?t=7236 (I hope I did that right). Anyway, you have to replace the fuse box. Call your dealer parts counter, give them the last 8 digits of your VIN and they will order it for you. $190 to $265. Comes complete. In my opinion, your troubles...- fixitmyself

2003 5.4 cranks but won't start
Fixed!!!!! Changed the fuse box, checked ALL wiring (everywhere) and she's running like new! So, just to recap: I thought it was the fuel pump and replaced it and replaced the fuel filter to no avail. The car still didn't start. Removed the fuse box (located in the passenger side kick panel)...- fixitmyself

FUSE BOX!!! RACENUT got it right! Thanks for the link!! Your link was a perfect starting point!! After much more research I found another forum where a person was having the exact same problem. 2003 5.4 cranks but won't start
I love my 2003 Expedition. Bought it used with 30K miles 5 years ago. Its an Eddie Bauer, now has 137,000 miles, 5.4 l, 4x4.
