Could this method clear out my P0401 Code? i'm thinking it just needs a cleaning and not the actual sensor.. still waiting for it to stop raining over here to actually figure these issues i am having out.
Just bought a 1999 Expedition XLT 4.6L & noticed the trouble code P0401.. It Runs Pretty Rough Driving (lots of vibrations) & also has a kind of ticking around the engine.. Would this code do any of those symptoms? What's the best way to get started on fixing this code as well? Thanks in advance!

i heard from somebody that if you havent changed your trans fluid in some time to just leave it alone?
i have only experienced this a few times & only when the engine is cold..
ill drive slow out of the neighborhood and then it shifts to second fine but then the rpms will rev higher and it feels like it shifted again to second.. other then that it feels like it shifts perfectly
any ideas?
This is exactly what happened in my Caprice & Roadmaster..
Driving Fine Til about 45 mph.. letting off the gas or flooring it stopped the sputter.. it was Injectors going bad.. Hope That Helped a little
turned out i had 2 bad coils.. so i replaced those and all the spark plugs.. running back to normal..
also found the vacuum leak. intake gasket needs replaced
2001 Ford Expedition
bought this truck about 4 months ago with a check engine light on... i was told it was a vaccumm
leak but the truck ran good.. the obd2 code that comes up is p0171 & P0174 (Too Lean)
last night there was heavy rain.. idk if that could have a role in it.. but today...
today im gonna change the fluid in the rear end..
what kind of gear oil is best and what kind of spray cleaner should i use on the gears to clean them??
