    I run 8, 8 inch subwoofers off of one of the amps pictured on my boat with no ventilation and enclosed. An that is during the summer when it's HOT. Check it out. Class D Kicker amps.

    thats a good idea to add fans. If the amp is overpowered, and under driven, you don't need fans. 1, 10" woofer and 4, 4x8 speakers is not much of a load for a good amp.

    I am picking up a center console with some other parts next week. I'll take some pictures of it. It may work for an amplifier location underneath the console... Then build a sub enclosure on the wheel well in the factory spot.

    you could call a service department at a Ford dealer and ask. I did read the actual TSB on the dealers computer, the service manager showed me. It did mention people in 2003's complaining. The TSB is on that receipt, so you could reference it. Good luck

    the FIX I HAD the same problem. I read all the forums, watched guys replace alot of parts and never fix this. My dealership had a TSB (technical service bulletin) about the symptoms everyone is having. I also, did my front rotors, pads and new tires... Still there. Dealer replaced the wheel...

    The stainless exhaust tubing that I polished out was / is magnetic. It has a lot of iron in it. Sort of Cheap... I'll just have to polish it out every ounce in a while. The stainless tip that came with it was NOT magnetic... I listed the tip on e-bay for $50... LOL

    I did not cut any of the old exhaust. I unbolted it. the muffler and pipe came out ounce I jacked up the rear end and gave it a little room... The install was about 2 hours besides the 2 hours of polish on the tail pipe at my buddies shop.

    what's the best differential oil, regular or synthetic?

    Honestly, I have not launched with the new 2003 yet. I had a 2001 before and I definitely made it in the water. Although not totally submerged, but the water was half way or higher on the back wheels. The differential and axles on the gen 1 are lower... The gen 2 is up a few inches...
