Shudders at speeds between 45-55
Has anyone checked to see if any the engine mounts are cracked/shot? A cracked/shot one would probably cause engine vibration at a particular frequency range (speed range) I know this because I had the exact same problem in my Cadillac. Between 68 and 72 it'd shudder like an s.o.b. Pissed me...- malmond

Thanks man. This forum has been great. I just walked in from outside and replaced the FPDM. It took all of 5 minutes to do. The truck fired right up. It reset the check engine light on its own. Nice to hear her roaring again. As it turns out though, I didn't want to wait until tomorrow...- malmond

Fuel Filter problem...HELP!!
The answer, it seems, was much simpler than I had expected. I bought the plastic disconnect tool (much smaller and flexible than the metal one) and cut it in half. I inserted half first, then the other half. Jammed them together and POP! the filter came out. I had to dig out the first piece out...- malmond
