Heater issues with 2000 Expy continue
Folks, I posted last winter regarding this as well. I've got barely warm heat when driving on the highway. Expedition runs terrible after 1/2 throttle
Folks, I'm battling a heater problem in another thread but another problem my Expedition currently has is that it cuts out, misses badly if given over 1/3, 1/2 throttle. Runs fine up until then so one can basically baby the thing along. However, encounter a hill and have to give it some throttle...- mangus64

Expedition heater woes, warm then cool air
Temp gauge sits in the middle, normal as far as I recall. Both dash/rear heat blow warm air but once out on the road both go cold, not just-started cold but cool. If you get on the throttle, blower airs gets warmer within seconds. I've checked antifreeze level, full. Took off heater core lines...- mangus64

Alternate (snow) tires for my 2000 Expedition

2000 expedition runs rough at times, then runs great!
Yeah a lil frustrating. Last night I thought it might die on me, it was that bad. Other times it runs perfect. Very sporadic behavior. Has new spark plugs, new fuel filter, clean air filter, cleaned the MAF sensor. Saw on here somewhere where cleaning an EGR? device up by the throttle body might...- mangus64
