    2 valve or 3 valve?

    I think its 4 valve. 5.4 went 3 valve in 05 if I'm not mistaken. Became 4 valve in 03. Since the 4.6's power went up in 03 I'd assume it went 4 valve from 2. Mind you I'm not sure if the 4.6 did go 3 valve. Maybe recently since they discontinued to v6.

    Compass/temp readout

    If you hold both buttons when you turn the truck on it goes into diagnostic mode. You'll need a book to know which values means what, so you'll know if its the compass/temp or the module.

    4 mpg is a pretty high gain. After saying 4mpg and drilling holes in the intake I would start walking away.

    Wonder if thats whats holding back one of my fogs sometimes. Sometimes it flickers and dies, sometimes holds itself, but ussually if I refire em again it'll be good. My headlights have relays and run well. Thats barely any wiring anyways since the batts are right there.

    If your trying 65+ you might be happier HID. Less power and cooler than halogens. Go to high with the halogens and you might melt the stock housing. And you can use the stock wiring.

    Filter will give you nothing. I'd do an AFE intake, stage 2 if your going for the high numbers with other addons. K&N aren't the best.

    Somehow the rod lost place on the lifter and was bent, ouchie. The heads were warped .004 . Stupid thing is a texas Ford dealer just replaced the head bolts, this is preventative. From the looks of it they slapped it together.
