Buying a 3rd gen, what year is best?
Just a follow up on my previous post. My 2017 now has 78k miles. I had the spark plugs changed cleaned fuel injectors and had the mechanic put a scope into two cylinders to see the tops of the valves. Spotless. Zero carbon! 3.5 EB probs?
Howdy all, I just did plugs and scoped the engine. Clean as factory new. 72,000 miles, I run 92,93 octane 98% of the time. I did have them do an injector and fuel system cleaner as well. Before and after showed no difference. Plugs were very clean as well. Ran smooth before, runs smooth now...- Goldnpaw

Driver Side Seat Trim Panel
Nice fix. After my dealer replaced two times, this last time I drilled two holes on the right top of the plastic trim. I then used two black zip ties and cut them off and tucked square holder under seat and panel. Has lasted for over a year, zero issues. 2017 Limited- Goldnpaw

15-17 expedition ecoboost engine

I have owned 2001, 2005, 2014 and now 2017. I was fearful of walking away from the v8, but the v6 twin turbo ecoboost is sporty as heck….purrs at high speeds….I would easily say 2017 over my 2014. Triton V8 or Ecoboost V6?
Personal preference at first.......I had an 05 with the 5.4.... then in 2014, the last year the v8 was available I fiugured I would grab one...no way I want a 6 in my truck....65k miles later, I was on vacation and got a rental Expedition XLT 3.31 rear axle and ecoboost twin turbo........OMG...- Goldnpaw
