Cylinder 3 Misfire
My Expedition would do the same thing if i washed it under the hood it was cuz i got water in between the coil and plug which made it short out all i had to do was let it air dry and it was fine the next day- Lawdawg101

front driveshaft
Is your front driveshaft got surface rust on it if so just spray some WD-40 on it and let it soak and try and tap it out (SOFTLY)..- Lawdawg101

when idle it goes dead
It may be your MAF sensor i know when mine started goin out it would idle for a little bit but if i even gave a little gas it would kill itself IDK thats the best i got.- Lawdawg101

Where are you from?

Whining sound
I would say if it isn't your power steering pump whenever you turn the wheel, I would check your idler pulley that is what went out on my Expedition and it made a squeeling noise too.- Lawdawg101
