New wheels (for me at least)

I could trim off some of the non-threaded area as long as I don't cut into the threads I would be fine. I am adding a 1/4" spacer and seeing what would need trimming from that point.

New wheels (for me at least)

I've been eyeballing Raptor wheels for quite some time and came across this smoking deal for the beadlock raptor wheels and 35's for $800 Only problem is that the center cap will not fit on the rear wheels because of the irs shaft but I think a 5/16 spacer might do the trick. Truck has a...

    Back again and probably staying

Well I swore that I was leaving the expedition scene some time ago but some jerk named Joe keeps dragging me back. LOL Well finally lifted the expedition and went to 33" terra grappler tires, would have gone 35" but I don't like how the rear fender makes the wheel look like it's pushed forward...

    New/Old member

Been gone for quite some time being occupied with my other hobbies... Anyways, to make a long story short, I am keeping the Expedition as I could not find an Excursion to my liking, and a truck really isn't practical for me as I have to haul my dogs around. Feels good to be back except I...

Removing plastic inserts in step bars

Thanks, I think I will be around for a while... I decided not to trade the Expedition in, mainly because I could find an Excursion I liked and I didn't want to do a truck.

When I am out there, I pretty much have tunnel vision when I am going 70+ mph.. I probably saw you and figured you were just one of the residents watching me doing a flyby..

Removing plastic inserts in step bars

Haven't been anywhere, I've just been busy with my mustang and waverunner stuff. In the middle of starting to work on the car and get it ready to handle the new boost levels. How have you been? I started noticing that my step bars were rusting from when I get out of the water and step onto them...

Removing plastic inserts in step bars

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic step inserts on the side step bars of an XLT Sport? I am looking to sand and repaint them but can't see where these inserts come out.

    Considering selling my aftermarket parts

I can't really pull the over-head tv because the previous owner made a hole in the roof liner. I am probably going to install a Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD deck I have here to keep it functional.

    Considering selling my aftermarket parts

Yeah, I really wanted an Excursion, but they are very hard to find with low miles... I would keep the wheels but they won't fit since I need 8 lug.

What I have been up too...

Pics do not even come close... Arriving into the "Port" you could look down and see small fish swimming around and that was 25-30 feet deep and it looked as if it was 5 feet deep. At one point we could look down at the bottom in about 80 feet of water. We are going back again in July.

How much did you pay for your K&N CAI and from where?

Nothing like sucking in warm air thinking you're going to really get performance. LOL! Do the GOTTS mod, it's cheaper and yields pretty much the same results.
