I would not go that route as I would bet that has nothing to do with the vibration. I would be looking at a possible out of balance tire/ I usually have my tires road forced balanced and that usually is right on to the tee. I agree with Dib52, I have polished up aluminum rims many of times in the past. it is alot of elbow grease involved as a drill and cone applicator and or polisher can get only so much of the open area's and spoke ports. Opinions on repair bill...
Well that seems ridiculously high. The going labor rate here is $45.00-$50.00 a hour. So at 6 hrs and $50.00 a hr, that comes to $300.00 in labor. So with that said, the parts are going to cost an additional $625.00 to come out to $925.00. Something does not add up.- SkyJumper

Fan blower does not shut off
Or a bad ignition cylinder cut off swith. You may want to try before you take the key out and rotating the ignition cylinder between acc and off then take the key out. See if the same happens. If it does not, then I would be looking into a shorted or bad ignition cut off switch.- SkyJumper

The light strip you are referring to does 2 things, it is a parking light that is shining when the lights are on and 2nd it acts as a third brake light or yet a 4th brake light as the Expy is equipped with a 3rd brake light already. Junk yards are a good place to get them cheap.
