PI swap question
Im looking to have a new engine put in my 97 expy and i want to go with the PI 99-02 motor but i need to know what the differences are i already know the intake manifold is different but is there anything else i need to change out with the swap- Kevo

looking for 2nd, 3rd and 4th opinions
ok so my 1997 expy 5.4 is running very bad a few weeks ago the CEL came on for code 171 bank 1 lean i checked for vacume leaks and cleaned the maf, no difference it runs fine except the mileage dropped from about 15 to 13mpg then two days ago it started missing really bad merging onto the...- Kevo

torsion bar adjuster broke...
ok so went to get dinner just a bit ago and as i was turning back down my street i hear a loud pop and felt the truck lean to the passenger side i got out and notice the passenger side was sitting lower then it should so i crawled underneath and this is what i found... somehow the torsion...- Kevo

1st gen suspension lift height
hey guys, me and my wife are at a stalemate heres the deal. we want to lift our 97 expy and cant agree on the set up. i want to do a 6" full suspension and 35x12.5r20s she agrees with the wheels and tires but thinks 6" will be too tall for her so she wants to only use 2.5" keys and 2" spacers...- Kevo

hey guys new member here from Tacoma, WA area heres some pics of my 97 Expy XLT 5.4L stock for now except for my own version of the Gotts mod and a high flow muffler (stock piping) i have the new SCT iTSX on the way and some Pacesetter long tubes i plan on a ful dual exhaust with SLP LM1...- Kevo
