My wife won't let me plasti dip or I would :) I want it done right so I know there is a lot involved sanding and preping. I could handle $1000 or so, beats buying a new vehicle the color I want and having to pay sales tax...... -

I have a white 07 Expedition with the two tone tan on the bottom that I have owned for two years, not crazy about white and tan so I would like to get it professionally painted black. I have tan and grey interior so I think it will look fine. Any know what a good estimate would run to paint an... -

We use the heated seats often here in Nebraska, but they get real hot after a couple minutes and I don't like sweat down my crack so it doesn't stay on long. 2007 Expedition Fuel Economy
By the sound of it I shouldn't be upset by getting 16mpg with my 07. I was getting 12.9 until I got a couple coils replaced then it jumped up to 15.5 and I hit 16. Was sure hoping I could squeeze 18 out of it but that might be asking too much out of my stock setup.- baller

I asked the mechanic when i picked up my Expo and he said thats just for reason the years. He replaced 3 on his truck the other day so I wouldn't think he would just replace them unless they were bad, but heck sold me 4 coils and labor so what the heck do I know!- baller

Time for new plugs?
Well, not the plugs it was the coil. I had to replace 4 of them! I replaced one about a year ago and another about a month after. I sure hope that gets me another 80,000 miles before I have to replace one of those things again. Put on a new fuel filter as well for a total of $486.01.- baller

plugs Well I have an appointment Friday morning. Repair shop thought it sounded like a coil was going bad, I have already replaced two so why not a 3rd. Still would like to get new plugs and wires just to get that taken care off.- baller

Who here has purchased additional warrenty on their expeditions after the factory warrently has runout? I have a 2007 with 81,000 miles and I was contacted by a company that offers warrently, gentleman on the phone said I could get a factory warrenty for $390 down and $160 a month for 18 months...- baller

yup Yes 3rd generation, and where the vents sit they would be covered. I was tempted to cover but I figured it wouldn't be good for air and heat not to reach the back. My kids are happy again, they were used to a 10" screen already.- baller

screen size for 2nd row
I purchased a 15" flip down for my 07 and it wouldn't fit. I was either going to cover roof vents or the sunroof so i had to tone it down with a 10". I was really pumped with that 15" screen. Now I kind of wish I went with the head rest screens.- baller

Proud new owner of CAI
Looking to get the spectre also. I had one on my 07 Avalanche and it sounded sweet. My gas mileage improved about 2-3 mpg, but it was hard not to punch it and listen to that motor suck that air in.- baller

coil bad coil. Put a new one on and runs good. Recommended new plugs and wires since theres 78,000 miles but wanted to wait until I hit 80,000 so next month sometime I will be doing that. Any recommendations of plugs and wires?- baller

Around December the engine light went on, didn't notice it starting or sounding different when driving, but took it in to see what was going on. Ford guy said it was a misfire, maybe the wires crossed so he moved some things around. Reset things and off I went, not problems until the weekend and...- baller
