    cruse and horn not working

To change the clock spring you'll need to pull the air bag and steering wheel. To pull the airbag siconnect the battery for at least 10min then ground yourself to the truck. Static can set of the air bag FYI, Thebotwo on the back of the steering wheel are what holds the air bag in. You can test...

    cruse and horn not working

Would suspect that you need a new clock spring. My horn and cruise don't work either and I've had other rigs that had the same problems which it was the connection in the clock spring

    4.6 to 5.4 swap

I have an expedition that had the 4.6-5.4 swap done and man was it done wrong. The 5.4 computer won't work unless you get all the wiring ignition and insurer ment cluster o and the keys from the 5.4 donor. You can swap in the 5.4 and use the 4.6 harness and computer but it won't run 100% like it...

    Springs to Leafs

My experience in this it would be easier to get the coils to work vs all the fab work to go leaf.

So swapped rims problem is gone but the rims are 16-10 welds with 285 75 16 toyo's. The pass side tire is still closer to the upper control arm but I've got 2" of clearance on it. I measured the fx4's with the BFF and the weld with the toyo's and the fx4 stick in 1.25" more toward the control arm

I got the rig this way and I haven't wheeled it at all but I can't speak for the previous owner. I'm running 02fx4 rims with 315 70 17 BFG at tires. I'm thinking thermo is right

Its on top of the steering knuckle sorry about that. It's a 5" spacer that bolts to the ballpoint and then to the knuckle. They have trailmaster on them and a part number as well. If memory serves me right it was there budget lift instead of the new knuckles.

    stuck

So I have a 97 expedition with a old trailmaster 5" lift. problem is it has the spacers on the spindle instead of the 5" steering knuckle. My pass tire is hitting the upper control arm and the drivers side tire has a good 1/2" of clearance. I replace the ball joint and upper arm, I measured the...

    38.5 inch tire question

Hmm with 15" you'll have to balance the offset with some trimming depending on lift etc

    38.5 inch tire question

I ran 37" ssr on my 97 with 7" of lift and 16x10 welds rims. I had no problem at all with any rubbing. Biggest thing I can see is how wide the 38.5 are that you think you'll run.

    Loss of highway mpg

Thanks guys. I just figured with losing the weight of those tires and with the tune it would be the same. The intown is what gets me 14 is pretty good for a 6k rig.

Hello all new to th forum and have ran into a dead end. I've got a 97 expedition 4" lift and 35" BFg a/t. The rig had a factory 4.6 and the previous owner put in a 99 5.4, I've fixed a lot of sensors that wheren't hooked and have a gryphon with custom tunes for the motor/trans. It has 21/2"...
