So the bottom of my doors have gotten rather rusty but not so much they are unsaveable. I have done the cut weld grind paint dance on a previous vehicle only to be back where i started just after one salty minnesotan winter. So ive decided to experiment with a different process. I will sand down...
well Armed positions are an extensive application so dont get discouraged. but only job id want to do other than the two im doing right now would be being a US Marshall. Love Bounty Hunting but in minneapolis its hard to find work as too many hunters and too few skippers. :-(
Hey I have a 98 Expedition XLT in white. I am an Armed Guard as well as a part time Fugitive Recovery Agent. The Expedition has been a great vehicle and i just replaced the Alternator and Battery. Looking to do a dual Alternator set up but no success so far.
Ive done the whole grind and weld dance with a side of new paint, only for it to get demolished in a Minnesota salt heavy winter. So im trying some new "experimental" fixes on my Expy this year. All else fails ill just get new doors. :-)

hey my Expy took a beating from Salt on the road this winter and rust has gotten bad. its on the door sills and in the wheel wells. I have been debating on what to do to correct this issue. what have you done or think is the best solution?
