    The increase you are seeing in mileage is probably due to the lack of ethanol in your fuel. I consistently saw 1-2mpg increase going from our crap 93 octane with ethanol to non-ethanol 93 octane.

    I tried 20 and 30 as well and noticed no difference either. Is it normal for the phaser noise to be as random as it is in my case? I can let the damn thing sit for a week and it won't rattle. Drive it and park it for 15 minutes and then start it again and it rattles.

    As long as the system is using IR for transmitting, Audiovox IR headphones will work fine. If worried about it, you can get the dual channel ones. I haven't seen a system the dual channel ones haven't worked with yet.

    I believe it is wired in through the rear. When I still had everything factory in my truck, turning the RSE on would take over the rear speakers and the sub as the wiring for the rear speakers runs through the RSE.
