    They physically fit on the lugs but to me it looks like they don't bite enough of the wheel when they seat. I've read they work pretty well on aftermarket wheels but mine are OEM hence why I was wondering if I picked up the wrong set or if I have to buy OEM ones.

    Ah, good point. If you're not rubbing on 305/40-22 then 305/50-20 should not rub either. The 305/50-20 is about 2/5" taller according to a wheel and tire fitment calculator I found.
