07-12 Intake mod - Like Gotts mod but easier & cheaper

So your local dealer couldn't be bothered to order a part for a local customer? LAME! I hope you take the rest of your business elsewhere too. I ALWAYS try to buy local first, even if it cost a few more dollars, but when they start acting like my business doesn't matter to them, I move on and...

    Good looking wheels pics

Wish I could help you. They were on the truck when I bought it. I know they were a premium upgrade wheel from Ford, but that's about it. I've seen them once on Ebay too.

    3rd brake light

I finally gave up on getting this. It was backordered forever and finally they just canceled my order and returned my money, saying the part was no longer available. So I VHT's my factory light and threw some super bright leds in there.

Finally finished my headlight projector retrofit (LOTS of PICS)

LOL, I wish I had the self confidence to charge you to build a set. You would be better off going with one of the guys who has experience doing hundreds or more retro's.

    3rd brake light

I'm not sure if they are specifically Anzo brand, but they look exactly the same. Fortunately the LED lights are so bright that you still get a good bright glow after the VHT application.

    Fusion Foglight retrofit... sorta

Right now, this is the only one I have online edit: ugh, I just realized that was pre-Zeon's but the sidewall's look the same... LOL I'll try to upload a full size pic of my signature picture sometime today.

    Fusion Foglight retrofit... sorta

i tend to agree on the white light. I've read that the yellow cuts through fog/rain/snow better than white, and with the intensity of the heads, bad weather is about the only time I ever turn on the fogs.

    Fusion Foglight retrofit... sorta

i picked up a set of OEM fusions on eBay for about $80 from a dealer clearancing out some overstock.

    Fusion Foglight retrofit... sorta

Here are a few output shots, these are pretty close to the wall, maybe 15' or so. Fusion Fogs with 35w HID's 3000k 3" Projector heads with 55w HID's 5000k Fogs & Heads Bright lights, heads, no/fogs

    Fusion Foglight retrofit... sorta

Thanks guys! The OEM fogs just throw light all over the place, especially with HID bulbs. The fusions are a projector beam, so they have a distinct cutoff, and the light that hits the road is very clear, not refracted all over the place. They are certainly brighter, with the same wattage bulb...

    Fusion Foglight retrofit... sorta

I retro'd a set of Fusion Fogs with 3000k HID's this past week. These little guys are awesome! There are rave reviews on some other websites about the fusion fogs, so I figured I had to try them out. At first I couldn't decide if I wanted to try mounting the fusion fog inside the factory...

07-12 Intake mod - Like Gotts mod but easier & cheaper

Ouch! do you have a lead foot? maybe time for a tune-up? I'm getting about 13.5~14.2 around town, and that's with big heavy 22" all terrain tires. I have a programmer and I'm pretty easy on the GO Pedal though.

Headlight Retrofit Part 2. This time with Halo/Demon

Oh, I see what you're saying. Yes I do have a Relay harness that came with the HID kit I purchased. It connects to the battery, and to the headlight wiring from the truck. It maintains power to the bulb under both hi/low conditions, it just splits the hi beam out to a second set of wires that...

Headlight Retrofit Part 2. This time with Halo/Demon

Low/High are not separate. With a Projector, the H1 HID bulb is at the same brightness all of the time, regardless of whether you're in low or high. The change is in the projector cutoff shield. In low beam, the cutoff shield is in the up position, and in Hi beam the shield is pulled down to...

Headlight Retrofit Part 2. This time with Halo/Demon

Headlight Retrofit Part 2. This time with Halo/Demon

The only aftermarket projector style light for our trucks that I know of, has 2 smaller projectors with small halo's. I just didn't like the look on my truck with those small projectors. One single large projector looked better in the huge housing IMO

Headlight Retrofit Part 2. This time with Halo/Demon

Thanks guys! The light output on these is a pretty close to the same as the MH1's I had. They seem to have a wider beam, and less foreground light, but the color and intensity in the middle is about the same. The reflector bowl is shaped and sized almost the same as the MH1. I did have one...

Headlight Retrofit Part 2. This time with Halo/Demon

Well After a few months I decided I wanted to go to a bigger set of projectors. The little 2.5" projectors just looked tiny in that big headlight. This time I got a set of 3" Projectors, and thought I'd try Halo's & Demon Eyes. Here you can see I painted the reflector bowls satin black, and...

    20x12 fuel octane With 305-50-18

He could probably do it with 10 or 15 inches of lift :flamingdevil: LOL, my Ram had 10" of lift and -44 offset was still out of the question without hacking up the fender & bumper.

Finally finished my headlight projector retrofit (LOTS of PICS)

Those would definitely be smaller and probably easier to install, but from what all I read, they were a limited run and you can't get them anymore. Maybe not the case, but they weren't on the website when I was shopping. I've actually just received a set of 3" lens projectors today. I'm going...
