1998 expedition going into 4x4 problem
1998 xlt 5.4 once i try to change it into 4x4 hi, lo, or 4awd it does want to move and if it does it pops very hard and in will barly move, but when i put it back into 2wd, it drives fine. So do you think it is the transfer case? Or is there a motor to replace on the transfer case or something...- mikiah

1998 expedition 4x4 reverse problem?
I just got this on trade and when i go into reverse, it stalls out most of the time. But then when I turn it back on, it goes right into reverse@@! I dont get it? Or it will bog down like its going to stall but revs back up and its fine. And once or twice i came to a light and had to come to a...- mikiah
