Yes I did use the Dorman intake replacement from Rock Auto for 149.99
I used compressed air to blow everything out prior to reinstalling everything. She fired right up but has a hesisitstion and stumbleds.

On the back of my 2001 5.4 Ltr throttle body sits a plug in sensor. The one closest to the fire wall What is the name of this sensor and what does she do.
So after a complete intake change the engine runs rough at around 1500 Rpm's
No intake leaks at gaskets. No fluctuation in RPMs Definitely feels like a cylinder down. During a road test she hesitates a bit but after 2000 RPms it goes away

Heres another thing
I sit in truck
Turn on a/c run the idle up to 1700 rpm
Wait a few seconds and I leave the same amount of pressure on pedal the rom drops 500 Rpm's
I ran the motor say around 1500 rpm and was able to go to each injector and pull off he working plug.
I really didn't notice any major change in the way the motor ran at a high idle.
