+1 on the wheel bearing. When I bought mine, this was the first thing I noticed. It sounded like a whining/roaring sound. Having dealt with this on the Explorer, I knew exactly what it was. Also helped me to drive the price down...
Any suggestions for what products to use to clean the gray cloth interior (seats) with moderate dirt build-up? The carpet is far worse, but I plan to just cover that up with some remnants and floor mats.
do you have to loosen the torsion bars to replace the ball joints or does it matter? Saw the video from 1AAuto and the guy loosened them up. Other than that it looks pretty straight forward. I've done them on older Explorers and never did anything with torsion bars.
