im not sure what the hitch reciever was from but i cut it all up and made brackets for it and welded it on. I know that a big no no. But there is not an easy way to bolt up

I seen you are planning on spending around $700ish. With that budget you won't get any extra power. Parts for this engine are not cheap like 350 or 454. Just keep it stock. If u do go big on it and add bunch of HP you will end up ruining the tranny. If you tow a lot try changing diff gear ratio...
Do yourself a favor and make your own dont buy that smitty mount they suck. I got my truck stuck in the snow one day a buddy had one so I put it in the rear hitch. Long story short I bent the damn mount pulling it out. They are made out of sheet metal. And the stinger is thin.
Made a winch mount for my 2003. I welded a hitch in the front so I can use it in the front or rear.

Right on! I know how it is I have 2 little girls and every car I own has to have a good working ac and heater lol the vacuum lines are hard pipe plastic. So if u think its cracked just get regular vacuum line it will work just fine
