Tranny help
I was driving down the road the other day around 50 mph & I hit the brakes to slow down as the car in front of me was turning left. When I hit the gas to accelerate, it was like the vehicle was in Neutral. Now it wont go into any gear & when put the gearshift in the PARK position, I hear gears...- richlester

1997 Expedition Tranny problems

Can't get 97 Expedition in gear. HELP!
That's the route I'll go if I can't get her fixed.... Gonna change the Manual Lever Position Sensor to see if that helps....- richlester

I dont get any flashing lights or anything. How much does it cost to have it rebuilt, if that's what I neeed?- richlester

Can't get 97 Expedition in gear. HELP!
The other day I was driving home from Academy Sports & My 1997 Ford Expedition (with automatic transmission) just suddenly stopped accellerating. The engine is running fine. But I cannot get it into gear. When I try to put it in Park, I hear gears grinding...... I checked the shift cable on both...- richlester
