I was not able to do the repair right. Where the harness was rubbing and grounding out was behind the block at the manifold where it turn down rearwards to the tranny. I'll have to pull either the tranny harness or the exhaust to get to where it needs the repairs.
I ended up taping the harness...

I pulled the fuse during the warmer months and reinstalled during snowy freezing months.
Did the same until I could do FRONT driveshaft u-joints and boot replacements. Then again due to Tcase chain slap.
Good evening everyone! Just joined and purchased a good used 2013 expedition. Drove 2 and half hours to get it and it drove very well on the return trip. The computer was saying 17.6 mpg but this is Texas and I was moving pretty good. Can’t complain as my Nissan Frontier got the same...
I have had the solenoid lockup the gear selector on my 99 and wifeys 03 Windstar. They were both quick fixes. Never had a No Crank condition as a result. Does not mean it's never happened to anyone. Just not my case here.
Thanks the forum gets the credit though.
??? Not sure if any of that...
Found the No Crank Fault!
Decided to be lazy and hit the starter from inside the fender. I had the hood open so there was plenty of light. When locating the starter I noticed a harness sitting on top of the manifold. I nudge it up, put a new fuse in for the Transmission B+ that kept blowing. It...
Battery terrminals and post are immaculately clean as if new. Batterry is one month old.
Tapped the starter first, but today is a new day maybe it will change its attitude.
I thought that that switch has to do with Shift lock solenoid not unlocking.
Checked it any way, my son says the left light is out the top right.
All lights checked and replaced as needed.
FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER INSTALLATION
To replace the front shocks on an Expedition you will first need to remove the nuts on the top of the shock. This can be accessed from under the hood of the vehicle or by the side with a wrench. The next bolt to remove is the lower bolt that runs through the...

Where did they put the selenoid on this truck? I want to try and jump it.
Any other Voltage Drop test points I can check?
I went to the panel right side under dash and it was patrtial off, so I am assuming this was previous condition. The ground at the fender near the battery tray has a number...
Hey Guys,
Need some input. Just bought a 2007 Expedition EB, pretty clean in and out (other than the rot). Obviously its issues are now showing up. Naturally who sold it to didnt disclose any issues. It has 149K, and only driven it about four humdred miles. It and has acceration issue with a...
Thanks for the great answer. Thought the 10-15 degree difference was an issue. I ended up starting a Prestone so called Heavy Duty Flush & Clean yesterday.
I tried that last year didn't do much.
Motorcraft alternator is charging at 14.35 at Idle and 13.93 at 2500 RPMs.
Voltage Drop Test done again and they are at most 00.050 at ground points, some go as low as 0.0001 and 0.000.

Well it was 53 degrees this morning. I left the Defrost setting on last night for this mornings heat test. Started it with the remote left it running to its limit about 20 minutes. The truck got just short of a 100 degrees again. After driving around for an hour vent temp got to about 102 - 105...
