2000 5.4 engine - Trailer towing capacity discrepancies?
The problem is the bumper. The bumper can not handle the towing capacity of the truck. My Class III/IV hitch is stamped 10,000 lb. capacity but that is over the rated capacity for the truck. What is stamped on the bumper or hitch has nothing to do with the tow rating of the vehicle. Sent from...- JRFog

What did you do to the expy today
Disconnected battery to reset the computer. Drove way to long with lean code due to manifold leak. Still rough idle, but better. Mechanic smoke tested and the intake manifold is apparently bad too..... Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk- JRFog

Aurora, IL Yep, My Expy is my plow truck! Can't imagine trading for anything else. Bought in 2001 with 16K on it. I've taken it to just over 160K and still going strong.- JRFog
