I'm looking to get some 20 inch rims, possibly Incubus 840 Empire 20x9 Black Machine Low Offset - Wheel and Tire Package What size tires would go good with stock 2000 2wd coil suspension? Haven't decided to go either higher or lower just yet, but leaning towards lowering it maybe in the... -
Plans have changed, going to lower my Expy
I too am looking at lowering my 2000 xlt, 2wd with coils. I'm looking at getting the Belltech 930nd kit, 2" drop, but not sure what rims/tires I'd be running. I do want something that isn't going to be too harsh of a ride though, so still open for any suggestions if anyone knows of any good...- ryanman1

dual exhaust
Local muffler shop, nothing too spectacular. Got a Flowmaster super 44 series dumped at the axle. Total cost me about 175, definitely worth it. -
Painted stock wheels anyone??
I painted mine with plastidip, 4 coats each, and then used a rustoleum glossifier, 2 coats, over that. Look pretty nice imo, people normally don't think they're stocks. They've held up pretty good, only a few imperfections on them, after 6 months of paint being on them- ryanman1

2000 Expedition won't start
That's the plan for tomorrow. 28 degrees and 7 pm right now, rules me out of changing a starter out for tonight lol. About how hard is it to change it out? Taking it to a shop vs. DIY how much is it worth?- ryanman1

Update: After looking at starter, it is covered in oil. Great another problem D: However, I did get it to start by hammer after cleaning oil off of it. Running right now to get the engine running and unfreeze it. About to go around the block once after it heats up, and will try another start...- ryanman1

Possibly, I don't think it's ever been replaced. It's at 141k so I figured there was bound for something to happen soon. Any quick ways to check this?- ryanman1
