03 Radiator support and frame rot
You really need a second opinion from a reputable body shop. Your pictures are exactly the same as I took last year, 100% radiator support. The frame is, as you suggested, further back under the engine. I had quotes from $1200 to $3200 to replace the radiator so it worth your time to shop...- foredeckguy

Core support/radiator support rust at frame??
Has anyone located an aftermarket radiator support for the 2006 Expy? A couple months ago I searched and could only find the Ford part for lots of money.- foredeckguy

Crank No Start P1233 Fuel Pump Driver Module
Thanks for the great video! My 2006 truck has been running fine til today when 'no start'. I remembered posts to the forum about no start and check it out. Found this thread and checked the truck. My module was rotted out and after replacement, all's good. Saved me a bunch of time...- foredeckguy

And that is the rub. The Ford manual p/n is 16138 but the internet suppliers (Rockauto, LMC, tasca, summit, ebay... add extra digits, like 4L1Z16138BAA. And no one has a support for 2006. Only up to 2004. Emailed Rockauto and LMC direct, they do not have a support for 2006.- foredeckguy

Good thought and they are the same! So I should be able to remove the rusted bottom half of the support and weld in new to the existing part thats in good shape. A plan is coming together.- foredeckguy

2nd Gen radiator support
I find to my dismay my new-to-me 2006 Expy XLT has radiator support rot in a big way. Large pieces are falling off both ends down near the frame when I touch them. I have found threads that discuss the repair but they are older trucks. Both Rockauto and LMC tell me they do not have the support...- foredeckguy

What did you do to the expy today
Replaced plugs in my new-to-me 2006 XLT yesterday using 3/8" air impact gun. #1 and 4 broke so I needed the Lisle tool and it worked great. 5 hours isn't the longest time for this repair I'm sure but we're back on the road and running good. Gary To add a little more detail about my...- foredeckguy
