Cruise Control Deactivation Switch Recall
Just find one at a wreckers and do it yourself, all it is, is a fused wire. Possible Rod Knock
ya, mine sounds like it is valvetrain but stickingyour head in the fender area above the tire, it seems louder there. Hey FAsoldier, like said above, concentrate on the mechanicals and the looks come in time. Time away from work/down time when money is low is waxing and polishing time. Possible Rod Knock
Hmmmm interesting. I have a heavy tick in mine from the top front passenger side that I am worried about. If you have run yours for 5 months with that noise mine will last along time. how many miles on your expy? Could it be a catalytic coverter coming apart and rattling inside????? What did you do to the expy today
Took the Expy "Betty" out for a little drive all washed up to show her off and today there were no gremlins in her speedometer. We had a great drive together today. Betty and I are seeing eye to eye lately. I give her attention and she gives me love. Life is good........today- Hit By Thunder

Working on the Homelink today. All wired in and works great, this saves me finding a proper sun visor in the wreckers in mint shape with Homelink. Ah plus it looks cool too. Well, thought I had the issue solved but after 183kms of trouble free hiway and city driving,....my little gremlin is back. Speedo was jumping from 100km/h down to 80 then to 100. Jeep Takeoff Tires? 255/75-17
I would run them for 1/2" taller and 1/2" narrower. Be sure the widths are measured on the same width rims, not a 1/2" difference between the two comparisons. Spent the day yesterday replacing the gem/fusebox. Connectors for fusebox had corrosion. Thought FINALLY theres my issue. Got it all back together...... nope no speedometer still. Also changed the rear abs diff sensor just for piece of mind......nope, still no luck.- Hit By Thunder

I have not had too much luck with painting chrome and because it being the front with seeing stone chipping it would be looking like one of those backyard bumper paint jobs in no time. Yes you are exactly correct. I remember looking at the reservoir and seeing two, but one is for the low washer fluid light. The other is the pump with two fluid lines. I am wrong and thanks for pointing it out. Sorry for the miss information I lead on....:025:- Hit By Thunder

What did you do to the expy today
Installed new sway bar link kit up front and ordered all new one ones for rear sway bar today. speedo was bouncing abit so also installed a new vss, vss gear and transfercase speedo gear, all good now. Old gear was chipped and gear on transfer case was worn down- Hit By Thunder

There is only one resevoir and 2 pumps in the resevoir. One for front windshield, the other is for back window. The tubing runs all the way back to the rear window. When you push for wash, it pulses for rear wiper as well. I don't have my Ford service manual in front of me at this moment but...- Hit By Thunder

Hmmmmm, great questions. I would think the holes would already be there and there should be no interfence what so ever. I think the bolts being reused will be fine as long as they are not too rusty. I used plastidip on the front and rear bumpers. I didn't want to just paint it cause nothing sticks to chrome. Its holding up quite well, of course washing the bugs off I use a pre soak method and come back and wash them off.
