I ordered one from rock auto. Put it in today. Only took me and my buddy about 2 hours. I did brake the tab off the box where the screw goes that's impossible to get to with removing the whole system.
Looks like I have to change the blend door actuator at the very bottom center. It clicks whenever you lower the temperature down to 60. 65 and above seems to work just fine.
Anyone know which part to order, as everywhere I look seems a little confusing on which one to get? Has any one done...
Here's where I got it from. It says out of stock but keep checking. It took a couple weeks watching until I got to order mine. 6 wires to tap into and a model that the harness tee's into. I could probably do one in under 10 minutes if I had to do it again...
I installed a remote start after work this evening. Was very easy except that I watched the programming part on video from the place I got it. I spent over half an hour trying it the way the video said. I re-read the instructions and it programmed right away.
I got it from warm car now...
I'm trying to find the cover that goes under the divider/shelf in the back of an EL. I don't know what to call the part and obviously don't have a part number.
Could someone with a tan interior lift the part up and see if there is a number on it? I would appreciate a lot. Or if someone happens...
Has anyone on here changed the rear outer cv boot on a 2011? Just curious as to how far I have to take it apart to replace it. I want to do it at the same time as I replace the struts. I'll be doing the front struts tomorrow.
Trying to find out information on lowering our recently purchased 2011 EL 2wd. It needs struts so I might as well lower it at the same time. Our youngest daughter has dwarfism so I want to make it a little easier for her to get in.
I had a Taurus SHO with dragging brakes. Turned out to be the rubber lines to the calipers swelling up inside. The looked fine on the outside but kept some pressure on the pads. Crack the bleeder and see if there is pressure in there.
I'm pretty sure your 99 has the same connectors as the radio in my 04. If you get the right adapter harness it will have an RCA connector to allow you to keep the stock amp and wiring for the sub.
I just put a bigger amp in mine and it made a huge difference in the little 8" sub. I replaced...
Whens the last time you changed your fuel filter? On my in laws ranger it lost a lot of power and mileage due to a mouse nest in the air filter housing. Just a thought.
