    conversion from air to shocks too bouncy

    Not sure how many options are out there but many on the 3rd gen section have replaced their shocks with Bilsteins and state that the bounce has been removed. In most cases I think they were replacing older stock OEM stocks so not sure what the difference will be between monroe and Milsteins.

    yeh thats probably what it was. I don't have the socket set in front of me any longer but I do remember the socket actually have a standard/imperial 1" 3/16 label on it as well as a metric MM label. I don't remember 30mm but that would be the appropriate conversion.

    I replaced mine (not with bilsteins, swapped in OEM from air) and I removed the lower shock bolt and the inner lower control arm bolt to the frame. Not sure if this way is easier but it seemed easier to me. See instructions here on page 4: here Only thing to note (whichever way you do this)...
