WD-40 did not fix the DOOR AJAR problem . . . any additional assistance?
Is this the part that's bad and how hard is it to get to? Looked around for the culprit and came across this . . . not sure if this is the piece that is in the door that is causing the DOOR AJAR light to stay on but if it is, how hard is it to get to and replace...- Andy(SC)

Will this result in a dead battery? Did not get to try the WD-40 again thanks to the rain we've been getting . . . . . but did walk out to a dead battery this AM! :mad: I turned the interior light dimmer switch to the full off position (all the way down) . . . will this keep the battery...- Andy(SC)

Any way to tell which door it is . . . is $350 a fair price to repair I called the Ford dealer and he said that the DOOR AJAR problem was a real common one . . . makes you feel good no? He said that it was a bad door switch and would be 2-3 hours of labor plus the part and figure about $350...- Andy(SC)

Am I missing a grill piece?
We just got an '03 XLT and in looking at some other Expeditions around town, most seem to have a grill piece below the larger main one . . . looks like what they call a bumper grill on E-Bay . . goes in the space between the fog lights. Radio Removal . . .

New owners question on lights & door ajar indication
Will the DOOR AJAR problem cause this? I also have the DOOR AJAR light staying on all the time . . . . . will this keep the lights on? If so, I guess until I get the DOOR AJAR issue corrected, I go without lights when the doors are opened . . . . Andy- Andy(SC)

Another "new owner" question on the keyless entry system
Tnaks . . one problem down one to go Well, I really appreciate the help on the remote . . . replacing the battery did not work but cycling the ignition key with the remote worked like a champ and saved me the $35 the Ford dealer wanted to reprogram the remote . . . great business if you can get...- Andy(SC)
