It looks like Goodbye...
So my already shit start to 2019 got shittier last week.....comes in 3's. The transmission on my 07' EL EB is dead. It went into limp mode on way to taking my son to baseball practice. Left me with 3rd gear only and I was able to take backroads to get home. Had it diagnosed at my local garage...- Gamecock

One thing that just came to mind. If you have rear air suspension don't you have to do something to "lock" it before doing this so you don't damage the air bags. I've never messed with it so just asking.- Gamecock

New to me 2007 EL LIMITED & all it's problems

The vibration issue was due to tires/balance issue so I had them all rotated, weighted and load balanced it instead of just the crappy Firestone wheel balance....huge difference. Water inside doors
Same here. The vehicle must have been sitting just right because I never had that issue before. I could hear it sloshing when I opened the door. Pulled the rubber plug (saved it) and it all ran out.- Gamecock

New to me 2007 EL LIMITED & all it's problems
I have a 2007 EL EB and have had my share of quirts and issues. Some bigger than others. I bought mine of my folks a couple years ago with only 115K on her, now at 160+. Currently having a front vibration issue with speed. Noticeable at 60 MPH+ and when I even tap the gas on the highway...- Gamecock

Exactly. And I'll add, their "signs" don't trump your 2A rights. It IS legal to carry in these establishments. The caveat is that if they see you obviously you'll be asked to leave. You should comply immediately or you will be arrested for criminal trespass.- Gamecock

Yep. You should never pull with full tanks either, distribute weight correctly, know hitch weight, etc... I'm anal when it comes to doing stuff right so I'll make sure I know all the ends and outs. My folks bought a 28' TT and while I haven't towed it yet, I will. its about 6400 lb dry. I have a `07 EL EB with the tow package so it should be no problem for it. The only thing I want to do is add the electric brake controller.- Gamecock

Brake upgrade
I got the HD Powerstop ones from Rockauto. I really like them. They are a little different in that there isn't a ton of initial bite, but then they really grab. It takes a little getting used to. But they are smooth and I feel no vibrations or anything like the OEM Rotors that were warping.- Gamecock
