Grinding or slight shuttering/rubbing noise while braking
Moose: thanks for your comment....let's see if we hear from Ben. Second drive today since yesterday's incident and no sign of chattering etc. Have a trip scheduled for next month, so have to get this nailed down beforehand.- dano100

strange grinding noise ( not brakes )
Thank you Eddie! Had all 4 wheels pulled yesterday and brakes checked out ok. So I guess if/when it happens again, I'll be headed for bearings check next. Please comment if you have a recommendation. I think it felt like front left when I heard it but I'll be better informed now. Test...- dano100

Grinding or slight shuttering/rubbing noise while braking
just saw this in researching chattering/shuddering thing. Have an 06 as well w/190K and this just started and stopped yesterday. Did you solve by replacing the ABS sensor ...dealer item or otherwise. sorry, inexperienced here- dano100

I'm working on it. Plugs have 60K Hwy miles on them, same with fuel filter. When I had the tuneup before, I replaced the #3 coil pack. Looks like I'm ready for more of the same. I now understand this "coil pack" issue can be a source of the problem. Now, I just have to decide whether I go...- dano100

'97 Expy Not Shifting Out of 2nd Gear
2006 King Ranch wont shift out of 2nd gear Hi everyone: Just started having a similar problem. Truck shifts through 1st and 2nd and then doesn't shift into 3rd and revs go way up. Managed to get it parked at home...tried it a week later and same result. Not sure where to go from here...- dano100
