05 Expedition remove running boards?
I like the look of no running boards and those smaller tubular nerf bars. I'm on vacation this week at the Jersey Shore and I've bumped my leg on these damn running boards several times. When I get home on Saturday the first thing I'm doing after we unpack is to remove these ugly running boards!- GMW468

My 502 is a GM crate motor but it runs a hydraulic roller cam and the ZDDP is only really an issue with old school flat tappet cams. I use Royal Purple oil and filter in the worked 502 big block in my 68 Chevelle. I have about $10K into that motor so I don't cheap out with oil. It's fantastic oil. As for my Expedition, I'll switch to Mobil 1 and use a Mobil 1 filter. I'm 48 years old and I'm hoping to make my 05 Expedition...- GMW468

I'll give Mobil 1 a try. My wife's car is a 2012 Acura RDX that we bought new and that calls for Mobil 1 from the factory. Do you guys believe Mobil 1 full synthetic is a better call than the OEM grade Motorcraft oil and filter?? I bought my 2002 F-150 crew cab with the 5.4 brand new. 2003 plugs blowing out
He checked out the Fuel Pump drivers module. It's a Ford replacement with the spacers to keep it off the frame. No worries there. He suggested doing the plugs at 75K miles and said he'd do the job so I'm not necessarily worried about that.- GMW468
