Extra cargo
I use a thule rooftop carrier and a hitch carrier when needed. We do a lot of long haul driving and with 5 of us total we usually have to bring a bunch of stuff. My hitch rack has a 45° up slant that raises my rack about 6 more inches that a regular flat rack. Helps to keep the stuff back...- MtnBiker

Replacement Bulbs - Headlights
Do you recommend one halogen bulb brand over another? My 2012 bulbs are up for replacing as they don't seem to be throwing as much light anymore. Don't halogens degrade over time?- MtnBiker

Liftgate Problems
I had an issue with my 2012 that the hatch would not open also. The button on the hatch, the key fob, the button on the dash. After researching I found another post that instructed to push really hard on the out side hatch handle. Push the hatch in a bit. For me this work and the buttons...- MtnBiker

2012 - Safe to change plugs myself without breaking any plugs
Great! Thanks for the replies. I will look at doing this next week. Should I go with the OEM plugs only. I don't think I will let them go as long without changing them the next time.- MtnBiker

2012 - Safe to change plugs myself without breaking any plugs
My truck is almost due for new plugs, but I have heard/read about the plugs breaking. Is this only with the older 5.4's. My truck was manufactured in Sept 2011 and I am hesitant as I don't want to break one taking them out. I also don't like the fact of paying the stealership so much money...- MtnBiker
