I know, the best answer I got was last week when I did a wifi network repair for a guy at his vacation home. We got to talking, and found out he used to work for Ford. At first, they didn't want to warranty the work since I worked on it instead of taking it straight back. I took lots of pictures, and video though so they decided it would be better for them to just do it rather than get a bad rep online...not that I would go out of my way to discredit their...- ParadiseComputer

I finally found what was causing my fan clutch to ROAR, and trouble with high RPM and shifting. I should have checked this first instead of messing with TPS, Tranny Module, and testing every other control module. Welcome to my world! I too have that same fuse box on my 97' EB 4x4 4.6L. I was having the same problems with my running board lights. Rear doors won't open from inside
There is a little spring behind the child safety lock actuator pin that gets worn out and stretched. Both of my back doors are the same and only open from outside. I'm going to try To get them disengaged and fill the space up with bondo once I get them to open from inside.- ParadiseComputer

Roaring clutch fan when cold?
Just had clutch fan replaced in my 97 expedition 2 days ago. Very loud on startup, and 1st gear as well. Did you have any issues with high rpm and trouble with tranny shifting out of first gear? Electrical issues. 1997 XLT 4.6 4X4
I just bought this 97' XLT 4.6L, and have had it about a month. I know it's almost 20 years old, and is going to have some issues to work out. It runs great, no error codes, but..... Keep fogs on with high beams ?
I would just run a new circuit from scratch. Leave current wiring still connected. Disconnect neg battery terminal. Run power from 12V with fuse close to source, through firewall to dash mounted switch then out to + of each fog light. Current - wire will still act as your ground. It will work...- ParadiseComputer

Keep fogs on with high beams ?
You should only have to cut the + wire for each. The - is simply your ground, and can stay grounded at current location.- ParadiseComputer
