    We have a 2022 Expedition-Max - Ltd . Such odd issues seem to correct themselves . Shutting down , waiting for awhile etc . The serious issues come when the battery runs down fully . Then , deep computor problems arise .

    My 2013 Expee -Max Ltd now has had 2 AC Compressor replacements . Costly . Only 130,000 kms on it . 5.4 engine . Is it correct that mechanics must only replace AC Compressors with same brand , make , & model unit ..??

    My Navigation Map screen shows way off course at times . 100s of kms away . Ford did repair this 2016 . Is there some "re-set procedure ? Its compass & directional sensitivity is off . Any body else been able to correct this ?

    Wow ! that is costly ; just looked up Krytox . How about motorcycle chain oil ? Works well on fold away running board gears & hinges , etc . $30.00 Canadian for spray can . Would that lubricate and protect the rubber seals too ?. I have 2013 Expee-Max 5.4 . In BC .

    Hi - I trust that you know that inner pads are NOT interchangeable on /13 Expee Front brakes , with outer brake pads . Some F - 150's too . { we ruined new pads by reversing inner vs outer thinking they were the same as with most vehicles } .

    2002 expedition rust. Need help!

    I spray with IRON -X - Pro - let sit for a few min . Then wipe off rust . Rust dissolves and drips a purple liquid onto paper placed underneath . Then light rub with fine steel wool . Then spray with Black rustoleum paint and : BOB'S-YUR-UNKLE .. fothco .

    Pulls hard right when towing

    With my /13 Expee -Max , the dash lit up : Trac Cont, anti-sway , Brakes etc ; but it needed a new sensor cable from rotor to up inside suspension area . A recent brake job had damaged that 3' sensor cable connection right at rotor . All is well now . fothco .

    I use " Motor Cycle " Chain Lube ; thick & seems to do the job once the hinges etc are clean . Winter ice blocks the retraction but boiling H2O on rags quickly frees that issue . Mine is 2013 Expee Max .

    HmHm - thak you for the reply and info . Yes , inconsistent problem but too noisy not to be alarmed , The sounds are as if a blade or a fan belt type slippage is happening . So , no simple lubrication can be done ... fothco . Retired in BC , Canada
