My exhaust leaking and ticking/clacking is getting horribly loud. I'm sure it can't be good for the motor. I tried searching but didn't get too much info, seems like the 2wd 3rd gen have a slightly better chance of fitting due to no 4wd front crossmembers for transfer case or such.
*We do NOT...
I'm on an active volcanic island, we have vog not smog. Volcanic smoke daily from the constant lava smoldering...
I'm not in comy cali lol
We have no emmisions here and I plant trees daily for the sake of the planet, as a hobby, karma wise I'll be fine. I start some from seeds, some I make...
On my old nissan titan I got longtubes and used spark plug spacing extensions to pull the o2 sensors further out causing no lean code. Can we do something like this on these 5.4 tritons? I supposedly have leaking exhaust manifolds so figured maybe good to try to remove the possibly clogging...
Can we use spark plug extensions to move the o2 sensor out so it doesn't throw codes? I did that on my titan when I got long tube headers. My 07 has 120,000 and runs like shit and the exhaust mani gaskets are leaking. I know guys here will straight pipe bypass the cats just want it to not throw...
Think I'd rather have a diesel excursion at this point.. solid front and rear axles much more aftermarket support from every angle. Once lifted mileage won't be as bad. Plus diesels are fun lol. Miss mine for sure.
Door panels seemed easier to pull than the lift gate panel... I always manage to break plastic removing stuff so trying to it this time around... last was the plastic above the rear gate window threshold when I took the headliner down =/
Car's getting louder with every mod but I just hate...
When I put longtube headers on my titan I used spark plug spacers to move the o2 sensor out so I wouldn't get codes...
Not sure exactly if it would work but if it did I would say straight pipe it provided the issues above aren't what caused it to go bad...
My cld tiles came in friday (came with what appears to be free samples too) but after short exprimenting, I came back to wood for this paper thin roof that flops around... now I'm on to thinking laminate another layer... next is maybe fiberglass or metal =/ pos roof is like paper in the wind...
If you're talking about a ported wall or 4th order bp wall, they're both still walls lol.
If you go 4th you gonna design/build it yourself? I'm nice to everyone here but I don't consider bought guys my competition, their builder is my competition. They're just the sponsor lol
Reinforcing my...
Talked to my old titan buddy today, he used to run 37s but got 35s now. Said he power stop sucked and kept warping. He ordered some ebc, the guys at AutoZone recommend it over power stop.
Hoping my brakes last long enough to order some ebc to test out too. Probably slotted since I have 20s...
Not that there seemed to be any interest but the overhead rattle console is just a pop off/pull down removal. Decided to say screw it and pulled on it harder and got it to pop off.
Damn, I got 1.5" lug adapter/spacers on mine to run some 33x20s I got cheap that're 6x5.5". I don't like it safety wise but I did over torque them when putting them on by hand for sure. I'm hoping to put the right lug pattern wheels on with no spacers soon as I can... best of luck in your adventure!
Any ideas what this is? Close to the battery/front passenger side of car. I'm thinking tranny or power steering fluid? Only oily fluids I figure would be over in this section. Didn't bring wrenching clothes so didn't want to lay on the ground to take a better look/pic but when I think about...
Has anybody got any tips for someone with anger issues that is easily frustrated? Lol
I want to reinforce my roof but I definitely need to vibration dampen my overhead console asap. Or get it to rattle less mainly. I have an 18" sub and like to bass myself out but I ended up breaking the...
My boss decided to pay for my pair since we worked late one day on an emergency call.. nice, bigger than I thought they were lol. Look good just like I figured, more like a super duty or excursion!
Thanks again for the mirrors!
3.5" front/2.5" rear eBay spacer kit. Tires are 33x12.5, unsure on rim width and backspace, adapters to 6x5.5 are 1.5"wide.
Hoping to get 6x135s and ditch the adapters, got the rims/tires for cheap, stocks were toast. Will add more pix when I change the setup.
Thanks. Not sure if it's maybe my phone or I'm just tired but I couldn't find that even when I load it in my cart lol. I'll try again tomorrow. Worked over 10hrs today and I'm beat. Thanks again for the reply!
Tom
I put deadener on prior to the wood and when testing the roof still flexed tons... I was using it to keep flexing to a minimum. Deadener/vibration dampener seemed to lower my resonant frequency/vehicle transfer function. I loved that but it didn't keep enough pressure loaded in the car. And...
